Our design and bid team will meet with you first to gain insight on the scope, parameters, budget and timing needs of your project. Once we determine feasibility and agree Home Pride is a good match for your project we will begin the design phase. 


Our design team will work with you each step of the way to help you select styles, colors and materials that are within your budget and to your liking.


Once the design phase is complete we will schedule your project and process plans through the appropriate municipal permit offices and move to the next phase. 


Part of our pre-construction practice is to photography your space in 3D. We have 3D cameras and a photographer that will shoot your project before we begin to ensure we have a baseline and pre-project documentation of your site. 




Once construction agreements are in place, materials are ordered, a team is assigned and your project is scheduled. During construction Home Pride will maintain your site in an orderly fashion. Construction can be messy, but Home Pride operates a dump truck with a driver who clears construction debris weekly and as needed during demo and other key phases of construction. 


Our project leads will stay in contact with you each step of the way. There are a lot of questions that come up during construction and we work very hard to stay in front of obstacles that can slow the pace of your project. Your role in the construction process is key. Maintaining good communication during construction will eliminate obstacles that can delay your project. 


Bench marks and inspections are scheduled as work is completed. When the rough inspection is scheduled our photographer will come back and shoot another 3D rendering of your site to ensure we have accurate visual documentation of electrical, plumbing, sprinklers, and other in-wall construction items before dry wall is hung. 


Once your project is complete we will walk with you through a punch list of items that need to be finished, changed, or repaired. After the final inspection is cleared, our photographer will shoot the final 3D virtual tour of your space to ensure we have final documentation of the completed project you have a state of the art tool to share your new space.


Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s)


Second units, also known as “accessory dwelling units,” (or “granny units,” “in-law units,”) are smaller units built on the same property as, or attached to, an existing primary residence. We have built many ADU’s on the Peninsula and are familiar with the complexities of the design, plan and permit process. 


If you are in the market to build an ADU on your property, we have a team ready to successfully walk you through the initial steps of budgeting and return on investment evaluations. Once your budget is determined we will walk you through design limitations, utility demands, required amenities, property valuations, permits and fire code regulations. Home Pride’s experienced team of professionals will design and build an ADU on your property that can generate rental income or help family who need a place to live.
